THE IMPACT OF RECRUITMENT STRATEGIES ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of recruitment strategies on organizational performance, focusing on identifying the most effective recruitment practices, assessing their influence on employee productivity, and evaluating their contribution to overall business success. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in gathering large amounts of data from a diverse population, enabling comprehensive analysis. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 400 respondents is derived to ensure statistical significance and representativeness. The case study focuses on a leading manufacturing company in Lagos, known for its extensive recruitment processes. The reliability coefficient score of 0.87 indicates high reliability of the survey instrument. Findings reveal that targeted recruitment strategies significantly enhance organizational performance, leading to improved employee retention and productivity. Recommendations include adopting data-driven recruitment approaches and continuously refining recruitment strategies to align with organizational goals.
